Does the application of clear epoxy on smoothen concrete surfaces create a slippery floor?
Clear Epoxy is a primer mixed with a thinner. It is easy to clean, but is usually not that durable. It is just a coating to maintain the condition of the concrete and to stop the dust from sticking to the surface. If you want a coating with better properties, then it has to be a 2 mm epoxy self-leveling coating. Epoxy self-leveling is a lot more durable. It is usually used in warehouses, showrooms, and places where there is a lot of heavy use. However if the surface is just used as a walkway and normal storage where you don’t want dust to accumulate and you want the surface that is easy to clean, then epoxy coating is what you use. It is much cheaper and it more suitable for light-weight use.
