Epoxy coating creates a different type of beauty when used on car parking lots. However for the best results, the surface has to be prepared properly. When the concrete floor is too rough, the epoxy coating will not be able to cover up all the imperfections, therefore it will result in an uneven surface.
Epoxy coating can also be made by Thai people. It is cheap, but how easy it is for the coating to peel off depends on how it was installed. It is no different than the installation of tiles. If there are holes on the surface, there will be cracks from all the cars running on top of it. If you don’t smoothen the surface and don’t apply the proper pre-coating, then it will definitely result in the coating peeling off. You just have to deal with the fact that the coating peels off easily when the installation was not up to the normal standards. But still epoxy coating will save your cost, and it will last 2-5 years. I think it’s a good idea, just in case you want to change to a new color.
Or you can use PU Coating. It is resistant to UV rays and suitable for outdoor environments. It is pretty popular today since it is more durable, more resistant to humidity, and less shiny.
