Surface Preparation
- test for vibrancy using a digital machine
- shot blasting the polished surface
- make sure environment is dust free so that there is effective bonding between the concrete and coating
- polish the surface until it is leveled
- clean the concrete floor
Condition of the floor that is ready for installation and painted. Apply an epoxy primer to create a bond between the surface and other chemicals. Help check for porous surfaces that will create air bubbles on the surface. Use epoxy putty to fix any defects and fix any potholes that may arise.
Process of adjusting and fixing surface
- Inspect the surface for any ridges or corners that are not properly applied and need improvement and fixing
- Polishing/Grinding to get rid of areas of concern
- Fill in holes on surfaces so that entire surface appears level
- By sand blasting the film’s surface, there will be a better bond during the application of the colored film. Apply the epoxy mortar to strengthen the floor, and adjust any areas with holes so that the floor is as level as possible
- apply epoxy puty to cover up any holes on the surface
- apply the topcoat, and the cts floor-sl1 will be the next layer
- remove any air bubbles by using the sprite roller
